Your father preached in a little church in clayton michigan in 1962. My family attended and it was the first time we were ever in a church. My sister an I came forward to recieve Christ that night. The next days meeting my parents and aunt and uncle with there children all recieved Christ. From that day on everything was different in both our families, Over the years every relitive I had on both sides of my family including cousins became believers. One family alone had 8 children. All are still walking strong in the faith . As for me I was in the bakery business producing snack cakes for convience storee suppliers covering a 7 state region. God called me to start a ministry helping drug addicts find christ. The name of the ministry is Solus Christus and the web site isSolusChristusInc.org We have had over 700 women live with us over the last 8 years , and work a program about Christ alone. Hundreds of women have come to christ and are now free form their addictions. This all started by God choosing to use your father in a little church in clayton Mich.

Your father spoke several times at Detroit Bible College when I was a student there. One of the statements he made in chapel shocked me. Several of my friends and I were very critical of him for that statement.
Over the years of ministry (I was ordained in 1972) I have come to realize how right he was and how wrong we were. It was that very statement that guided me in many ministry pursuits. I am finishing up a year of ministry in the Philippines, training pastors in Evangelism by Multiplication. I will also be including your father’s influence in my ministry in my next book on Communicating the Gospel.
Is there any way I can contact him? I would like to thank him personally.
God bless you in your ministry.
Let’s change the world together!
